Hi, I’m Hanna Henry.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own experience. I believe meaningful growth happens when we have the space to better understand ourselves, feel supported through challenges, and develop the tools to move forward with intention. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that feel authentic and sustainable for you.

My background as both a licensed professional counselor and mental performance consultant, along with my experience as a former Division I Big Ten athlete, shapes the way I work. As an athlete at Indiana University, I experienced firsthand the pressures of performing at a high level, navigating expectations, balancing academics and athletics, and figuring out who I was beyond my performance. Those experiences continue to inform my work with athletes and other high-achieving individuals who may feel pressure to constantly perform, achieve, or have it all figured out.

Clinically, I draw from person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) approaches. I also incorporate mental performance strategies related to confidence, goal setting, focus, managing pressure, and developing a healthier relationship with performance rooted in sport psychology theories and frameworks. My work is individualized to each person rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

I especially enjoy working with athletes, high performers, and individuals navigating periods of transition or change. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, questioning your identity, experiencing burnout, adjusting to a new chapter, or simply wanting to feel more confident and grounded, my goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and build the skills to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.

I believe that performance and wellbeing do not have to compete with one another. You can pursue excellence while also creating a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and authentically your own.
